Mississippi Gulf Coast Fishing Update for the Week of June 22nd: Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder & Red Snapper Season

The early morning bite has been the most productive lately, offering excellent opportunities to catch speckled trout, redfish, and flounder. The speckled trout have been especially active under a popping cork setup, using live shrimp or croakers as bait. Targeting these areas near the barrier islands has consistently produced great results.

Afternoon trips can be more challenging due to the heat and slower fish activity, so we recommend booking your fishing trips in the morning to take full advantage of the bite.
